Intel has announced the formation of Articul8 AI, an independent company focusing on generative AI, in partnership with DigitalBridge Group. Arun Subramaniyan, former Intel vice president, will be its CEO. The company, resulting from Intel's collaboration with Boston Consulting Group (BCG), aims to address the challenge of moving AI concepts into practical, safe, and cost-effective production. Articul8 AI will focus on developing enterprise-grade AI software, positioning Intel to compete with major players in AI and chip markets. The company is backed by investments from several entities, and Intel's establishment of Articul8 is part of a broader strategy to attract external capital and consolidate its AI research efforts.
