Raytheon UK says it will open a laser integration centre in Livingston next year. The centre will focus on testing, fielding and maintenance of high-energy lasers. The lasers are designed to destroy small attack drones, such as quadcopters. The firm says the war in Ukraine has highlighted the threat they pose.
