It follows a series of similar attacks on blockchain bridges, including the $600 million Ronin Network heist and the $320 million stolen from Wormhole.

YouTube announced several new AI-powered tools for creators at its Made on YouTube event. Features coming later this year or next include AI-generated photo and video backgrounds, AI video topic suggestions, and music discovery. A new feature called "Dream Screens" will allow creators to place AI-generated videos and photos in the background of their YouTube Shorts. "Initially, creators will be able to generate backgrounds by typing into prompts, but eventually they will be able to use AI tools to remix and edit existing content to create something new," YouTube said.
