Payments firm Square plans to change its name to Block. The company will move forward with the rebranding on December 10th. Jack Dorsey co-founded Square in 2009 shortly after his first stint as CEO of Twitter. The rebrand is designed to encapsulate the company's expansion from its namesake card reader.
