OpenAI has officially announced its next-generation flagship AI model, GPT-4.1. This new release features improved performance in nearly every aspect, including coding and instruction following, compared to the previous GPT-4o model. The launch of GPT-5 has been delayed and is now expected to arrive “in a few months,” later than initially planned.
